Event Description
(provided by race organizer)We warmly welcome the aquabike participants and this both in the European Championship (through the federations ) or in the open race. We also give due consideration to the para-athletes.
After a separate start there will be a swim in the Lys ( up and down for 1.9 km. ) ; the cycling is 90 km divided into 2 laps ( 350 altimeters ) . There is one feedingzone from the organisation ( after 45 km. ) and there is also the possibility of bringing along 'special needs' ( 28 and 73 km. ).
The arrival is in the middle of the finish area so that everyone gets the attention and encouragement that they deserve.
There is a nice prize pool in the open race and every participant will receive a finish photo, a T-shirt and socks from Compressport, a Compex Molecule massage ball and a finish medal.
We provide an camping area.
