Event Description
(provided by race organizer)2nd biggest sport event in the department of Ardèche, the "Triathlon des Gorges - Ardèche et Gard" on 6,7 and 8 july 2023 proposes 4 different race formats so that everyone can participate according to their level and age.
- A semi-nocturnal Ms Triathlon on the 6 july
- A Xs triathlon on 7 july (+2 child races : 6-9yo and 10-13yo)
- A L triathlon on 8 july (+ A duathlon and swimbike race)
There are several possibilities to participate :
- In individual or in relay (2 or 3)
- Timed (competition) or non-timed (Rando-loisir)
This event takes place in a beautiful place, at the entry of the Ardèche Gorges, the swim part takes place at Saint-Martin-d'Ardeche in the Ardèche River.
With a convivial atmosphere, our event is made to welcome all types of participants (from beginner to top athlete).
The road will be mostly closed for the bike part (70% for the L and M races)

Year of participation: 2023 I participated in Aquabike
A really unusual event on almost… everything.
The only common points : you have to swim and ride.
The swimming in the river is unique and makes you feel like a swimmer on the way back.
The bike course is quite hilly, but not so hard. Don’t take risks on some descents (there’s warnings written on the road). Most of the roads are excellent and car free. The view are stunning and invite you to stop to enjoy them, or you can choose to come back later for a recovery ride.
The run to the finish line was quite long this year (1,2 km).
Volunteers are great. All the food is coming from the area and is just excellent.
